We went on an autumn walk a few weeks ago. We were looking for signs that summer was over - we found that the leaves were changing colour and falling off the trees. The grass and plants had also started to change colour - they were no longer green. Can you see what colour they were?
While we were outdoors in the sunshine we discovered that we all had shadows - we had fun trying to catch them! The sun was low in the sky so our shadows were quite long - we aren't really this tall! Can you guess whose shadows these are?
When we returned to school, we decided to take a little bit of autumn indoors with us and we worked together to make a wall display outside our classroom. 
We are planning another walk after Christmas to see if things have changed now that winter has arrived - we will let you know how this goes!
